Deep Eddy Pool is temporarily closed after a 7-year-old child reportedly went missing at the popular swimming spot Monday afternoon. It is unclear when the pool will reopen. Police are on the scene and a helicopter is circling, according to a reporter in the area.

Visitors sunbathe near the closed shallow end of Deep Eddy Pool on Wednesday. Starting this week, the shallow side of the pool will reopen at noon on weekdays.
