Two American pilots, Erick Javier Diago and Rudy Ghazal, died on Sunday after an Austin-bound Gulfstream 200 aircraft crashed at La Romana International Airport in the Dominican Republic. The crew declared an emergency shortly after taking off and tried to return to the airport. However, the plane veered off the runway during the attempt and crashed, resulting in the death of the two pilots who were the only occupants on board. The incident is currently under investigation.
