A new community park, Ridgeline Neighborhood Park, has opened in Northwest Austin, featuring trails, fitness areas, and picnic tables. The 10.45-acre park, located at 2701 S. Lakeline Blvd., offers a loop trail, public sidewalks, picnic areas, playgrounds, and workout zones. The park's concept plan was approved in 2022, and construction began in spring 2025. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on June 3, attended by District 6 Council Member Krista Laine and Austin Parks and Recreation Deputy Director Adena Long. The park is already experiencing wildflower “super blooms,” and is open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
