A dispute at a downtown Round Rock bar led to a stabbing last week. Skyler Stewart, 26, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after grabbing a woman's genitals at the bar and later stabbing Christopher Perez, who confronted him about his behavior. Police were alerted to the incident outside the Round Rock Tavern around 10:20 p.m. Thursday. The woman told police that Stewart bought drinks for her and Perez before she and Stewart went to a different bar without Perez. There, Stewart grabbed the woman's genitals, and she texted Perez for help. When Perez confronted Stewart about the incident, Stewart stabbed him. Police reviewed video showing Stewart holding a knife during the argument and running from the scene. Witnesses also confirmed seeing Stewart stab Perez. Stewart later claimed self-defense to police.
