Protesters gathered Friday night at the Texas Capitol's South Lawn on the second day of protests demanding justice for Renee Nicole Good, who was killed by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent in Minneapolis.
The incident has sparked outrage nationwide and brought renewed scrutiny to ICE at a time when the Trump administration is deploying more agents than ever before, particularly in residential neighborhoods.

The Texas Capitol glows brightly as shouts echo from the grounds’ south entrance. A group of around 100 people gathered in protest of ICE’s deployment to US cities, and specifically, the department’s Wednesday killing of Good.
"Say it loud, say it clear,“ the leader chants. "Immigrants are welcome here," the crowd responds.
