Texas Longhorns Football players brought holiday cheer to families and patients at St. David's North Austin Medical Center.

Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning and teammates Daylan McCutcheon, Ryan Wingo and Emmett Mosley brought an early dose of holiday cheer to St. David’s North Austin Medical Center last week, surprising young patients and their families with gifts, visits and time during a season that can be especially difficult inside hospital walls.

The student-athletes delivered Texas Longhorn onesies to babies in the neonatal intensive care unit and care packages to children being treated at the hospital. Moving room to room, the players greeted families, posed for photos and spent time with patients whose holiday celebrations are unfolding amid treatments and recovery.

"Today’s visit from Arch and his teammates was such a special gift to our patients," hospital representative Denise Bradley said in a video. "Being in a hospital is hard this time of year, especially for children and their families. So to see their eyes light up and their faces just filled with joy when those Texas football players walked into the rooms was priceless."

The visit came as part of a broader holiday-season effort to bring comfort and connection to patients who may be spending weeks or months in the hospital. For families in the NICU, the Longhorn onesies offered a small but meaningful keepsake, while pediatric patients received care packages meant to brighten long days of treatment.
