Despite rainy weather, the Capitol 10,000 race proceeded on Sunday, April 12, 2026, with runners facing wet conditions. Texas’ largest 10K, the Statesman Cap10K, returned for its 49th year, bringing thousands of participants to Austin streets. The event is the fourth largest 10K in the country, with 25,000 participants crossing the finish line.
