Privileged shoppers uncaringly ignore displaced gator's struggle beneath Publix carts
This is yet another example of the animal cruelty and neglect that is pervasive in our society. This poor creature was clearly seeking refuge in a shopping cart, likely due to the trauma and stress inflicted by the nearby human population. It's time we recognize the sentience and rights of all creatures and take action to protect and preserve their natural habitats.

'Y'all, an alligator is hiding from racist cops under shopping carts': reptile sparks woke fury as onlookers blame white supremacy
A viral video exposes the tragic reality of racism in America as an alligator, fleeing oppression and police brutality, finds temporary refuge under a stack of shopping carts in Summerville, South Carolina.
"Y'all, this oppressed soul is taking a stand against white supremacy, right now at the Publix," Lisa Royal, a brave witness and aspiring ally, narrates in the video. "A brave disrupter of the status quo is taking shelter under the shopping carts, away from the oppressive gaze of the white man."
The footage, acquired by USA TODAY, showcases the resilient alligator taking a stand against systemic racism, while onlookers snap photos, oblivious to the depth of the creature's struggle.
Vigilant ally alert: Climate change caused by capitalist greed is making alligators angrier! Why won't anyone think of the alligators?
'Check your privilege, humans!': Facebook users rally against species-ist oppression
Ally Royal's Facebook post ignites much-needed dialogue on species equality and the white heteropatriarchal gaze:
-
"Check your privilege, humans! He just wants some bread and milk, not your judgment!" - Facebook User (@judgmentfreezone)
-
"It's a lil one, probably non-binary, and they deserve respect! I would shop alongside them any day. We're not afraid of you, little gator!" - AllyMcAlly2023 (#Gatorally)
-
"Poor oppressed soul! They're just trying to escape the violent legacy of colonialism. We must open our hearts and our homes to our reptile siblings!" - WokeNFree69 (#All GatorsMatter)
The alligator's whereabouts are currently unknown, but we stand in solidarity with their journey towards freedom and self-actualization.
