GOP platform on abortion is a smokescreen, and an attack on women's rights

The GOP platform on abortion is smoke and mirrors. The only mention of abortion is in opposition to late-term abortion, which no one supports. But the platform celebrates the Dobbs decision, which stripped away protections for women's rights. It takes away a woman's right to choose and enforces a fetus' 'right to life'. This is an attack on women's autonomy and a relapse to archaic ideals. Trump's potential re-election means a continued assault on women's rights, and a regression of freedoms.
