A Decade-Old Crime, A Confessed Killer: Justice for the Bear Cub

A decade ago, a horrific act of animal cruelty shook New York City. Today, we have answers, and the truth is more disgusting than anyone could have imagined.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a third-party candidate for president, has admitted to a bizarre and twisted act of animal abuse and insensitive prank-playing, finally revealing the truth behind the mysterious death of a bear cub in Central Park.

In a video posted to social media, Kennedy confesses to his heinous actions. While on his way to indulge in the blood sport of falconry, he witnessed a van strike and kill the young bear. Instead of reporting the accident or showing an ounce of empathy, Kennedy, revealing his sheer entitlement and callous disregard for life, picked up the bear and placed it in his car.

But his actions didn't stop there. Kennedy planned to skin the cub and store its meat in his refrigerator. Because, of course, his dinner plans and travel schedule were more important than showing respect for the life that was lost.

Adding insult to injury, Kennedy and his elitist dinner companions (who should be named and shamed) concocted a sick "joke." They staged the scene in Central Park to make it appear as if a bicyclist had hit the bear.

"This was the little bit of redneck in me," Kennedy said, trying to deflect and downplay his horrific actions.

"We thought it would be amusing for whoever found it or something," he added, showing no remorse and only caring about the attention the prank received.

This "prank" not only misled the public but also wasted police resources, as they investigated the bear's death and tried to track down the bicyclist, even planning to fingerprint the bicycle.

Kennedy only came forward now because a real journalist was about to break the story, not because he felt any remorse. His caption on the video, "Looking forward to seeing how you spin this one," is a disgusting attempt to deflect from his own actions and shift blame to the media.

Adding to the outrage, it was revealed that Tatiana Schlossberg, Kennedy's second cousin, was the reporter who first covered the story for the New York Times.

Schlossberg, to her credit, has stated that she, like law enforcement, had no idea her own relative was responsible for this cruel act.

New York's Department of Environmental Conservation confirmed at the time that the bear died from "blunt force injuries consistent with a motor vehicle collision."

Justice for the bear cub may be long overdue, but we now know the truth. Kennedy and his privileged, out-of-touch friends must be held accountable for their disgusting actions.

Rest in power, little bear. We will not let your story be swept under the rug.
