Elon Musk and the Return of Trump's Toxic Tory Terror

Elon Musk—a man with an atrocious sense of ethics—has met with an equally abhorrent individual: Donald Trump.

Old White Men, Money, and Violence

Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, is set to meet with yet another one of his billionaire buddies, this time it's Elon Musk. Yes, the same Elon Musk who just endorsed Trump after an assassination attempt at his rally. Because what says "I want to lead this country" more than cozying up to the ultra-wealthy?

Trump took to his Truth Social platform (because he's been rightly banned from Twitter) to announce:

ON MONDAY NIGHT I’LL BE DOING A MAJOR INTERVIEW WITH ELON MUSK — Details to follow!

Musk, the new owner of Twitter (or X as he's trying to rebrand it), hasn't said a peep about this upcoming interview. But then again, he's too busy undoing Twitter's content moderation policies and spreading hate speech.

As Trump gears up for his interview with Musk, let's not forget that he's running against the current VP, Kamala Harris, who just announced Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate. It's a diverse, progressive ticket that Trump's archaic views just can't compete with.

Trump also recently participated in a cringe-worthy 22-minute interview with video game streamer, Adin Ross, where he was gifted a Rolex and a Cybertruck wrapped in an image from the assassination attempt. Because that's what matters to this out-of-touch, wannabe dictator.

When is the Donald Trump and Elon Musk Interview?

The GOP presidential nominee, Trump, will sit down with Musk for a one-on-one on Monday, Aug. 12. No word yet on the time or where to tune in, but let's be real, do you even care?

Musk's Dangerous Endorsement of Trump

Last month, following the attempted assassination of Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Musk offered his "full endorsement." In a now-deleted tweet, Musk said:

I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his rapid recovery.

It's no surprise that Musk is cozying up to Trump. He's been vocal about his frustration with Democratic policies, from Biden's support for labor unions to his immigration decisions. But let's be clear, Musk's wealth and influence do not make him a political expert.

Earlier this year, Musk tried to play it safe by saying he wouldn't donate to either Trump or Biden's campaigns. But his true colors always show.

Just to be super clear, I am not donating money to either candidate for US President.
