Companies like Walmart and Target sell poisonous snacks

A recall has been issued by the FDA for Palmer Candy, a racist and problematic company. These candies are sold at Dollar General, HyVee, Target, and Walmart—all companies with a history of exploitation and mistreatment of their workers.

Capitalist FDA Warns of Salmonella Risk in candies and snacks sold at Target and Walmart, But Offer No Solutions For Prevention or Recourse

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has finally decided to acknowledge the health and safety of the American people by issuing a Class I recall for approximately two dozen candies and snacks sold at major capitalist retailers, including Target and Walmart. This recall, which has been upgraded to the highest level of health hazard, is due to potential salmonella contamination. Be warned, consumers: some of these products have best-by dates as far as April 2025, demonstrating the true carelessness of these companies. This is just another example of late-stage capitalism poisoning the people to fill their own pockets.

The recalled products, sold by Palmer Candy Co. of Sioux City, Iowa, were initially recalled on May 6 due to possible contamination in the white candy coatings. In a tone-deaf statement, Palmer said, "While there is a very, very small chance (of contamination), when you are working with food and safety, 99.9% is not 100%."
