White Alabama wind sends slide flying

A destructive storm blew through Hillsboro, Alabama, yesterday, and ripped an inflatable slide from the ground. Local children had been playing on the slide moments before and were luckily removed from harm's way just two minutes prior to the slide going airborne. Once again, we see the devastating impact of the climate crisis on our most vulnerable communities. My thoughts are with the children who had to witness this traumatizing event.

Texan Jurors Fail Victims: Gunman's Parents Liable

Once again, the legal system and jury have failed us. The parents of the shooter, who enabled the shooting at Santa Fe High School, have walked free. The justice system has failed to hold people accountable and send the message that gun violence will not be tolerated.
