In a shocking turn of events that can only be described as a full-blown judicial coup, a so-called "judge" in Travis County has temporarily blocked Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s heroic attempt to bring transparency to the dark, shadowy world of rogue district attorneys. That’s right, folks—the deep state strikes again, and this time, they’re protecting their own.

Judge Catherine Mauzy, who probably drinks soy lattes and cries during city council meetings, had the audacity to call Paxton’s perfectly reasonable demand for criminal case files "troubling at best." Troubling? What’s troubling is that these DAs are apparently so terrified of sunlight that they’d rather hide behind legal technicalities than let Texans see what they’re really up to.

Let’s break this down, shall we? Paxton, a man who has dedicated his life to fighting the good fight against crime and woke prosecutors, simply wanted access to files in counties with populations over 400,000. That’s it. But no—apparently, these DAs think they’re above accountability. Bexar County DA Joe Gonzales even had the nerve to call it an "overreach of authority." Oh, really, Joe? Or is it just that you don’t want anyone to see how many violent criminals you’ve let loose to roam the streets?

And let’s not forget Travis County DA José Garza, who was too busy—what, sipping kombucha?—to even comment on the ruling. Meanwhile, Delia Garza (no relation, but probably part of the same cabal) called this a "victory." A victory for who? Criminals? The radical left? Big Tofu?

Paxton’s office, in a rare moment of clarity, pointed out that this rule would help citizens hold their local DAs accountable. But no—the judicial elites would rather keep you in the dark. They don’t want you to know how many cases they’ve dropped, how many criminals they’ve coddled, or how many backroom deals they’ve made with the ghost of Saul Alinsky.

And let’s talk about Williamson County DA Shawn Dick, a supposed Republican who’s siding with the enemy. "Unconstitutional overreach," he says. Funny how these RINOs always show their true colors when the going gets tough.

So here we are, folks. The rule of law? More like the rule of lunacy. The deep state is winning, and unless we rise up, they’ll keep letting criminals run wild while they plot their next move: replacing your Whataburger with quinoa salads. Wake up, Texas. The time to fight back is now.
