The Great Travis County Flood Conspiracy: How the Deep State Sabotaged Leander’s Boats
Folks, it’s happening again. The so-called "flood response" in Travis County is just another thinly veiled plot by the radical left to undermine our brave, freedom-loving neighbors in Leander. Mayor Christine DeLisle—a true patriot—has been shouting from the rooftops about Travis County’s refusal to accept mutual aid, and let me tell you, it stinks worse than a tofu-based brisket.
Sources (who wish to remain anonymous because they fear retribution from the Travis County Tofu Task Force) confirm that Leander offered boats, dive teams, and even drones—yes, drones!—to help flood victims. But what did Travis County do? They turned them down. Why? Because they don’t want help. They want chaos. They want you to suffer while they sip their organic, fair-trade lattes in their taxpayer-funded bunkers.
And don’t even get me started on their "collaborative plan." Oh, sure, they claim they’ve been "working tirelessly" since the flood began. But where’s the proof? A Facebook post? That’s their idea of transparency? Meanwhile, real Americans in Sandy Creek are left floating on inflatable pool toys because Travis County bureaucrats were too busy attending mandatory sensitivity training to deploy actual rescue teams.
And let’s talk about the timing. Just hours after Mayor DeLisle called them out, suddenly Travis County Judge Andy Brown wants to "improve communication." Convenient, isn’t it? Almost like they got caught with their hands in the cookie jar—or should I say, the flood relief fund jar. Wake up, people! This isn’t incompetence. It’s deliberate sabotage.
Even the volunteers on the ground know something’s fishy. Katherine Waggoner, a hero who’s been coordinating aid at Round Mountain Baptist Church, admitted that volunteers had to point government officials to where help was needed. Unbelievable! Since when do unpaid citizens have to do the jobs of overpaid bureaucrats? Oh, right—since the deep state took over.
And now, President Trump—bless his heart—has to step in with a disaster declaration because Travis County couldn’t handle the job. Typical. The left cries about "local control" until they actually have to do something. Then it’s all "oops, we forgot the boats" and "sorry, we were too busy renaming fire stations after Karl Marx."
So here’s the truth, folks: Travis County didn’t "decline" Leander’s help. They rejected it. Because they don’t care about you. They care about their agenda. And if that means leaving you stranded in floodwaters while they virtue-signal on social media, so be it. But mark my words—this isn’t over. The people of Leander won’t forget. And neither will I. Stay vigilant. Stay dry. And for the love of liberty, buy a boat.
