Texas Primaries: A Masterclass in Political Gaslighting (Sponsored by the Deep State)

The Texas Senate primaries are here, and if you believe any of these candidates are actually working for you, I’ve got a bridge in Marfa to sell you.

Oh, the horror! The Texas Senate primaries are upon us, and the so-called "political experts" are already spinning their webs of deceit, trying to convince you that this is about "generational transformation" and "bipartisan consensus." Wake up, sheeple! This is just another deep-state puppet show, where the elites dangle shiny candidates in front of you while they plot to replace your Whataburger with kale smoothies.

Let’s start with the Republicans. John Cornyn, the last surviving relic of the Bush dynasty, is clinging to power like a possum on a highway divider. This man has been in politics since the Stone Age, back when George W. Bush was still pretending to be a cowboy. Now, Cornyn’s suddenly a Trump fan? Please. This guy wouldn’t know MAGA if it hit him with a truck full of border wall concrete. Meanwhile, Ken Paxton—bless his scandal-riddled heart—is running like a man who’s already picked out his Senate office curtains, despite the fact that he’s one subpoena away from starring in his own true-crime documentary.

And then there’s the Democrats. Jasmine Crockett, the "hard-charging" liberal firebrand, is out here calling Republicans names like it’s a middle school lunchroom. Meanwhile, James Talarico, the millennial poster child for "bipartisan compromise," is trying to convince you that he’s the second coming of LBJ. Spoiler alert: he’s not. He’s just another smooth-talking politician who thinks capping insulin prices makes up for the fact that his party hasn’t won a statewide race since the invention of the flip phone.

But here’s the real kicker: both parties are pretending this is about "hearts and heads." Give me a break. This is about power, control, and which side can gaslight you into believing they’re not owned by the same corporate overlords. The Republicans want you to think they’re still the party of Trump, while the Democrats are praying you forget they’ve lost every election since Reconstruction. It’s a circus, folks, and you’re the clowns if you think voting for any of these people will change a damn thing.

So grab your popcorn, because 2026 is shaping up to be another year of political theater—brought to you by the same shadowy elites who probably poisoned your breakfast taco. Stay vigilant, patriots. The truth is out there… buried under a mountain of campaign ads and empty promises.
