Les Dames D'Escoffier Austin Chapter hosts its fourth annual fundraiser, You Grill Girl!, at Franklin Barbecue on April 25. The event showcases the talents of female and non-binary chefs and grill masters, with all proceeds going towards supporting women in the culinary, beverage, and hospitality industries.

The roster includes:

  • Sarah McIntosh (Epicerie) - Smoked fish dip
  • Janie Ramirez (Dai Due) - Aoudad hot dogs with berebere mayo and pickled onions
  • Franklin Barbecue's own Sarah Petmecky, Amie Brown, and Theo Nesland - Y'allapeño Poppers
  • Laura Sawicki (Oseyou) - Chocolate silken tofu pudding with coffee coconut soil and whipped coconut cream
  • Amanda Turner (Olamaie) - Grilled “Oysters Rockafella”
  • Sisters Daniela and Rosa de Lima Hernández (La Santa Barbacha) - Barbacoa tacos

"[You Grill Girl] has grown... to be one of Austin’s most anticipated culinary events," event chair Stacy Franklin said. "It's no secret that if you get a group of talented and creative women together, there is nothing they can't accomplish to support each other in service of a great cause."

The event will also feature DJ Cassandra, a Disco Cowgirl Dance Party, a tiki bar, and a silent auction. General admission tickets are $90 (VIP is sold out), with free entry for children under 12.
