Gunfire at San Antonio's Fiesta De Los Reyes left two dead and four injured. The festival ended an hour early as police closed in.

Two Dead, Several Injured in San Antonio Shooting

A brief summary of the shooting:

Just after midnight on Sunday, the final day of San Antonio's Fiesta celebrations, gunshots rang out in Market Square. Police reported that an 18-year-old and a 20-year-old man were shooting at each other, with officers returning fire as the younger suspect tried to flee. Both suspects died, one at the scene and the other in hospital. Four bystanders were also injured, but their conditions are not life-threatening. Two weapons were found near the suspects, but their identities and the motive remain unknown.

San Antonio Police Department response:

Fiesta De Los Reyes event ended early as a result:

The shooting prompted event organizers to close an hour early on Sunday, at 11 p.m. The decision sparked debate online, with some calling for increased security.
