Missouri Man Charged in Killing of Two Siblings, Took Lyft to Crime Scene
Lamarr Harris, 19, of Florissant, Missouri, has been charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action in the deaths of Marc Rhodes, 19, and Lanija Cooper, 20, in St. Louis County.
Police saw him getting into a car and they thought it was weird. So, they pulled that car over and stopped the driver.

The Incident:
- Sunday morning, Harris, who had a previous relationship with Cooper, suspected her of slashing his new girlfriend's tires.
- He took a Lyft to the victims' house, where he got into an altercation with Cooper's brother, Marc.
- Marc punched Harris, who then pulled out a weapon and shot him.
- Harris tried to flee in the ride-share, but was apprehended by police.
- The gun was recovered from the scene.
- The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office charged Harris; he's being held on $750,000 cash-only bond.
Previous Charges:
- Harris has a pending case in St. Louis County for possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with a weapon.
Lyft's Response:
We have permanently removed the rider from the Lyft community and stand ready to assist law enforcement with any investigation.
