Austin's Newest Park, Skyline, Opens to the Public

A new 21-acre public park, one of the city's largest in years, has opened in Austin.

We are excited for Skyline Park to provide Austin’s eastside community with a vital space for play, events, and programming. - Brad Chelton, Brookfield Regional President, Texas.

The park, called Skyline, is located in the 2,700-acre Easton Park subdivision, Southeast Austin, and boasts stunning downtown views, a Pennybacker Bridge replica, a splash pad, an open lawn, and two playgrounds for different age groups, designed with TBG landscape architects.

The park also features Singing Mountain, a wind sculpture by local artist Nicholas DeBruyne, and was developed by Brookfield Residential Properties, a North American homebuilder.

Skyline Park broke ground in August 2022 and is just one part of the 350-acre park space in the Easton Park subdivision, which will also feature over 13 miles of trails. The subdivision currently has 2,500+ homes, with an anticipated 13,000 at full buildout in 2036.
