Temperatures are rising, and so are Austin's summer offerings. Here's a roundup of free events to enjoy:

Blues on the Green

Nearly cancelled, but saved by H-E-B and the Austin City Council, Blues on the Green returns to Zilker Park on June 11-12, featuring top local talent: Golden Dawn Arkestra, Nané with Quentin Arispe and Grace Sorensen, and Riders Against the Storm. More info: acl-radio.com

The Drop-In at the Long Center

This free summer concert series returns on Thursdays, May 23-Aug. 15 (no show July 4), with a lineup including Bidi Bidi Banda, Grupo Fantasma, and more. RSVP and info: thelongcenter.org.

Movie in the Park: Jaws

Austin Parks Foundation presents a free screening of 'Jaws' at Deep Eddy Pool on June 13 at 8 p.m., with 100 bags of free popcorn. Picnics and lawn chairs welcome. Info: austinparks.org

Central Texas Juneteenth Parade and Festival

Celebrate Freedom Day with the Juneteenth parade on June 15 at 10 a.m., starting at East MLK and Comal, and the festival from noon-9 p.m. at Rosewood and Boggy Creek Park, with food and retail vendors. Info: juneteenthcentraltexas.com

Zilker Summer Musical: Legally Blonde

Zilker Theatre Productions presents the beloved musical Thursdays-Sundays, July 12-Aug. 17 at 8:15 p.m. at Beverly S. Sheffield Zilker Hillside Theater. Info: zilker.org

Austin Symphony Orchestra Hartman Concerts in the Park
