Police Arrest Man Named Optimus Prime in Stolen Car Case
Austin, Texas — Austin Police Department officers arrested 37-year-old Optimus Prime Blakely last week for driving a stolen car.
I discovered the car unattended and running at a Dollar General, so I entered the vehicle and drove away - Optimus Prime Blakely
According to the arrest affidavit, on June 4, Blakely was spotted driving north on South Congress Avenue in a white Mercedes reported stolen the previous day. Police followed Blakely to a known criminal hub, a game room in the 300 block of Radam Lane, where stolen vehicles are often recovered.
Blakely was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and held at the Travis County Correctional Complex on an $8,000 bond as of Tuesday.
