Kevin, the World's Tallest Dog, Stands at a Whopping 3 Feet, 2 Inches
A new Guinness World Record holder for the tallest dog has been crowned, and his name is Kevin. This 3-year-old Great Dane from Iowa stands tall at 3 feet, 2 inches.
He lives like a Kevin! — Wolfe, owner of Kevin, recalling how quickly he grew up, not out, but up!
Kevin lives in West Des Moines with the Wolfe family, who adopted him after losing their previous Great Dane. He was named after the character from the movie Home Alone.
Despite his immense size, Tracy Wolfe describes Kevin as "the epitome of a gentle giant," getting along with dogs of all sizes, although he's a self-proclaimed scaredy-cat when it comes to vacuums!
Kevin dethroned the previous record holder, Zeus, a Great Dane from Texas, who stood at 3 feet, 5.18 inches.
As of Thursday, the shortest living dog, according to Guinness, is a Chihuahua named Pearl, measuring a mere 3.59 inches tall.
