Starbucks Debuts Value Menu Alongside Fast Food Rivals

Fast-food giants are bringing back value menus, and Starbucks joins the fray with its "Pairings Menu."

The Starbucks Pairings Menu:

  • $5: Tall drink (hot/iced tea/coffee) + butter croissant
  • $6-7: Tall drink (hot/iced tea/coffee) + breakfast sandwich ($6 for cheddar, bacon, sausage options; $7 for Impossible or double bacon)

Upgrades/customizations cost extra.

Rivals Battle for Customers:

  • Wendy's: $3 breakfast combo, free nuggets via app, and promos (e.g., one-cent Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger for National Hamburger Day).
  • McDonald's: Promises price cuts, $5 deals, and freebies.
  • Burger King: counterpunches with its own $5 meal deal this month.
