Georgetown Man Pleads Guilty to Murdering Estranged Wife

A Georgetown man, Ricardo Quinones, 39, has pleaded guilty to the murder of his estranged wife, Lindsey Whitman, 31. Quinones will serve a life sentence with the possibility of parole after 30 years.

"This guilty plea ensures he will be held accountable for his horrific actions and can no longer threaten the safety of our community...Our deepest condolences go out to Ms. Whitman’s loved ones as they navigate this unimaginable loss." – District Attorney Shawn Dick

On the morning of December 27, 2022, Quinones, disguised with a ski mask, broke into Whitman's home, where she and their young daughter were living, and attacked Whitman with a gun and a knife. The daughter's 911 call alerted police, who found Whitman's body handcuffed and shot in the head.
