Shooting at Maryland Little League Game Leaves One Dead, Child Injured

A man is dead and a child injured after a shooting at a Maryland Little League football game on Saturday. The incident took place at Potomac High School in Glassmanor, MD, just outside Washington, D.C.

"During a play, I heard shots... A man and child were struck." - Coach of the Little League team, speaking to WUSA reporter John Doran.

Per DC REALTIME NEWS on X (formerly Twitter), a man suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was airlifted to a local hospital, while a child was also transported for treatment.

The Prince George's County Police Department is investigating.
