FDA Warns Against Eating Diamond Shruumz Mushroom Treats After More Illnesses Reported

Health officials again warn against consuming Diamond Shruumz-brand mushroom-infused products, including chocolate bars, cones, and gummies, after the FDA reported an increase in illnesses, now totaling 12 cases and 10 hospitalizations across eight states. The FDA's initial warning on June 7 cited a 'severe' illness with symptoms including seizures, vomiting, and abnormal heart rate.

"All Diamond Shruumz-brand Microdosing sweets...should not be eaten, sold, or served."

The candies are sold nationwide online and in-person at various retailers, including smoke and vape shops and hemp-derived product sellers. The investigation is ongoing, and the FDA advises consumers to safely dispose of any Diamond Shruumz products and seek medical attention if symptoms occur.
