Nature, adventure, and legacy: Bill Fuller's vision

On the outskirts of Weatherford, Fuller’s Folly River Ranch is the realization of Bill Fuller's nature-inspired vision, a tribute to his kindheartedness and humor. A native of Fort Worth, Fuller's deep love for the outdoors began with his grandfather, fishing on the Brazos River.

"I grew up hunting and fishing...I think that’s a great way to connect with nature, but you don’t want to stop there. You want to learn new ways to connect with the natural world," reflects Fuller, a third-generation landowner.

From the Andes to the Colorado River, Fuller's thirst for adventure is insatiable, fueling his desire to create a space that fosters a love for nature.

"You find wonder and awe from the sunset, the meadows, forests, and rivers," he muses.

Fuller's Folly River Ranch: An Immersive Experience

Located on 350 acres along the Brazos River, the ranch offers unique accommodations: a 1920s farmhouse, a safari tent, and two treehouses. The newest, the Magical Treehouse, stands among the trees, with a cedar scent, a wrapping porch, and silence, bar the owls and rain.

Fuller emphasizes the power of nature to connect us with our ancestors:

"Holding an arrowhead, I felt a profound connection to its 5,000-year-old creator. It made me ponder our shared connection to this land," he says.
