Krispy Kreme disappoints Friends fans with themed doughnuts.

Cable companies offer niche streaming channels to entice subscribers—bringing back *DAYS at a time* when cord-cutting was non-existent. However, this nostalgic gesture is a farce, as live-streaming is heavily geo-restricted, with accessibility dependent on location.

Krispy Kreme is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the hit TV show "Friends" with a new line of specialty doughnuts — but some fans are disappointed that the treats are only available in the UK.

"COULD WE ‘BE’ ANY MORE EXCITED?!?!"

proclaimed Krispy Kreme in their news release, announcing the four new doughnuts:

  • "We Were on a Coffee Break" — a nod to Ross' famous line, featuring a "Central Park Coffee" shop logo topper.
  • "Friends" — a donut with an image of the iconic fountain, distinct colors, and sprinkles.
  • "How You Doin'?" — referencing Joey's catchphrase, with purple icing and a yellow door peephole from Monica's apartment.
  • "Trifle" — a reference to Rachel's disastrous Thanksgiving treat, topped with chocolate curls and green sprinkles.

American “Friends” fans expressed their frustration on Instagram, commenting on the Snackaltor post:

"This is where I am just confused by the decision-making process [...] yet this is a UK thing."

" Why wouldn’t this very American phenomenon be released in America?"

"UK? Bruh why not NY."

The range is available until July 21 in UK Krispy Kreme shops, supermarkets, service stations, and via delivery partners.
