APD Investigating

The Austin Police Department is investigating the discovery of a body found near the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center; foul play is not suspected at this time.

Around 3:34 p.m., medics received a call about a person "down near the fence line" at 4801 La Crosse Ave. in South Austin. The person, found outside the flower center property, was pronounced dead by medics.

The case is currently under investigation, and the APD has not released further information.
