Red Robin introduces 18-ounce 'Gold Medal Burger' for summer.

Red Robin has unveiled its new Gold Medal Burger, an 18-ounce behemoth of a burger, in honor of the upcoming Olympics. The burger features:

  • Triple patties
  • Triple American cheese
  • Red's relish
  • Mayo
  • Pickles
  • Onion
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato

“Inspired by the hardware the athletes will bring home, the Gold Medal Burger weighs approximately 18 ounces and is the ultimate summer challenge for burger fans.” – Brian Sullivan, Red Robin's Executive Chef and VP of Culinary & Beverage Innovation

The burger is served with a bottomless side of your choice, and those who take on the challenge can get their names featured on the Gold Medal Burger Hall of Fame. Available until August 11th, it's a test of appetite endurance.

Star-Spangled Spritzer:

To pair with this massive burger, Red Robin has also introduced a festive drink, the Star-Spangled Spritzer. This patriotic beverage includes:

  • Wild raspberry syrup
  • Sprite
  • Blue cotton candy

The drink is served in a light-up souvenir cup and is available for dine-in only.

"We hosted an internal competition where participants were challenged to finish the Gold Medal Burger and Star-Spangled Spritzer, and only a few could complete the challenge. We know our guests will bring it and can’t wait to see who steps up to the plate!” – Brian Sullivan

Get them while they last, and good luck to those taking on the Gold Medal challenge!
