Staples is expanding its recycling program to include backpacks and school supplies, in partnership with Close The Loop. The office supply store will now accept these items for recycling: backpacks, lunch bags, pencil cases, writing instruments, rulers, glue sticks, tech, and binders.

"Staples is one of the only retailers in America where you can recycle backpacks and school supplies for free."

The company is offering incentives like coupons and rewards points for those who participate.
