Body Found in Southeast Austin, Police Investigating Homicide

AUSTIN, TX - Police are on the hunt for a killer after a grim discovery in Southeast Austin on Friday.

At approximately 4:07 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of Metcalfe Road, near East Oltorf and Burleson Roads. According to Police Cpl. Matthew Nonweiler:

"...officers arrived and found an obviously deceased individual with apparent trauma to their body."

Nonweiler confirmed that the death is being treated as a homicide investigation and that no suspects have been identified.
