Body Discovered in Austin, Police Investigating Homicide

AUSTIN, TX - Austin police are seeking information after a body was discovered Friday afternoon, with authorities treating the case as a homicide investigation.

Police Cpl. Matthew Nonweiler said:

"Officers responded to a service call at 4:07 p.m. in the 2600 block of Metcalfe Road. They found an individual who was obviously deceased and had suffered traumatic injuries."

No suspects have been identified, and police are requesting assistance from the public.
