Florida Rapper Shot and Killed on His 26th Birthday
Florida rapper Charles Jones, known as Julio Foolio, was fatally shot on Sunday morning while celebrating his 26th birthday in Tampa.
Jones’s lawyer said: “He was ambushed and shot in the hotel parking lot.”
Jones was promoting a pool party at a Tampa house on Saturday. After being kicked out of the Airbnb for exceeding occupancy limits, he was shot at a Holiday Inn. Three others were injured and are in stable condition.
According to Tampa Police, the investigation is ongoing.
Jones had previously been shot at during violent incidents in 2020, 2021 and 2023, according to First Coast News.
