PACCAR Recall:

  • 3,887 trucks recalled due to potential steering control loss.
  • Inadequate heat treatment of ball studs in tie rods/drag links could lead to breakage and loss of steering control.
  • Affected truck models: Various 2025 Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks.
  • PACCAR advises owners not to drive these trucks until remedied.
  • Dealers will offer free inspections and replacements of tie-rod/drag-link assemblies.
  • Notification letters by August 11.

Toyota Recall:

  • 13,077 2023 Toyota Crown vehicles recalled due to camera defect.
  • Insufficient laser welding could lead to camera case separation, water leakage, and short circuits.
  • This may cause a failure or distortion of the rearview/front view camera display, increasing the risk of crashing into pedestrians.
  • Toyota dealers will inspect and replace cameras for free.
  • Notification letters by July 30.
