The clock is ticking for users to get a slice of Bleacher Report's $4.8 million class action payout. The lawsuit, filed in January, alleges the site shared user info with Facebook without consent, violating privacy laws.
While Bleacher Report has not admitted wrongdoing, they've agreed to settle. The deal is preliminarily approved, pending final approval on August 8.
Important Dates:
- August 23: Deadline to submit a claim. Affected users must act to get an equal share of the payout.
- July 9: Deadline to object or exclude yourself from the settlement.
