Travis Scott Arrested in Miami on Trespassing and Disorderly Conduct Charges

Miami, Florida — Travis Scott was arrested in Miami early Thursday morning on charges of trespassing and disorderly intoxication.

According to police, Scott, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster, disregarded their commands and smelled strongly of alcohol. He was booked at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami-Dade County at 4:35 a.m. His mugshot was also released to the public.

Jail records show that Scott posted a $650 bond and was released from custody at 8 a.m. Thursday.

In true Travis Scott fashion, he began selling a T-shirt featuring his mugshot on his website shortly after his release, with the caption, “It’s Miami.”

This is not the first time Scott has made headlines for controversial reasons. In 2021, he faced scrutiny over a deadly crowd surge at his Astroworld music festival, which left 10 people dead. No criminal charges were brought against him.

In a statement at the time, Scott claimed to be "devastated" by the events and offered his "thoughts and prayers" to those affected.
