More than 3,500 bags of dog treats recalled over metal fears

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced that 3,551 bags of Green Tripe dog treats are being recalled due to potential metal contamination. TDBBS, based in Richmond, Virginia, distributed the affected products nationwide and sold them online under the brand names Barkworthies and Best Bully. Though no injuries have been reported, pet owners are urged to dispose of the treats and contact a veterinarian if they notice any unusual behavior or illness in their dogs.

"Pet owners who have bought the treats are advised to immediately dispose of them...Those who may have already fed the contaminated treats to their pets are advised to look for signs of illness or unusual behavior.
