Biden, Trump to face off in first 2024 presidential debate
President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump go head-to-head Thursday in the first presidential debate of the 2024 election.
The "CNN Presidential Debate" airs live:
- Thursday, June 27
- 9 p.m. ET
- CNN and simulcast on USA TODAY
- USA TODAY's YouTube channel
The no-audience debate, moderated by CNN's Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, will feature a twist: all mics will be muted except the speaking candidate.
Biden seeks a second term. Trump is set for official nomination at the Republican National Convention in July.
Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. did not qualify.
