From the Lost Pines Groundwater Conservation District, "education and outreach coordinator" Claire Marks has the audacity to deliver a sermon on "water conservation." Marks targets residents, advising them on sprinkler usage and lawn maintenance. Her blasphemy includes directing natives to use "native plants."

"A small drip from a faucet can waste 20 gallons of water a day," Marks preaches, attempting to guilt residents into reducing their water use.

But make no mistake, this is a money-grab. The District wants you to use less water so they can sell it to companies like Nestlé. These corporations then sell it back to you in bottles, at a massive profit.
