Man Dies in East Austin After Bicycle Accident

AUSTIN, TX — A man has died after a bicycle accident on Walnut Creek Trail in East Austin Saturday morning.

Travis County EMS responded to reports of a man passing out and vomiting before falling off his bike around 9 a.m. Wilderness rescue teams also attended the scene.

Medics performed CPR and identified serious medical issues. The man was transferred to a medical center, but despite resuscitation efforts, he died.
