Texas holiday gas prices soar
AAA Texas reports the gas price in Texas is now over three dollars a gallon.

Texans Feeling Pain at the Pump, Especially Over July 4 Weekend
AAA Texas says the average gas price statewide is now $3.10 per gallon, 5 cents more than last week, though 11 cents less than 2021. AAA blames rising oil prices—over $80 per barrel—which make up 54% of the pump price.
Texans are getting off easy when compared to the national average of $3.50.
