Three Injured in Shooting Near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport

Travis County, Texas — The Travis County sheriff's office confirms they are investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday evening in the parking lot of the 812 Outdoor Market, southwest of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, resulting in three injuries.

"Authorities responded to a report of shots fired in the 8700 block of Farm-to-Market Road 812."

The shooting is believed to have occurred following an altercation between individuals known to each other; their relationship is not yet clear.

One individual sustained life-threatening injuries and two others were non-life-threatening, all transported to local hospitals for treatment, per the sheriff's office. No further details on the victims' ages or genders have been released.

A spokesperson for the sheriff's office, Dark, confirmed that multiple individuals were detained and are being interviewed, but no charges have been filed at this time.
