Blue Bell announces The Great Scoop Revival grand prize: a flavor that's been over a decade in the making.

Blue Bell has announced Groom's Cake as the winner of its Great Scoop Revival Flavor Tournament. Starting June 25, the tournament allowed customers to vote for their favorite discontinued flavor to return to shelves.
"The 16 flavors were chosen based on customer requests," said Lauren Lewis, Blue Bell's PR manager.
Daily voting culminated in two cake flavors going head-to-head: Groom's Cake (chocolate ice cream with cake and chocolate-covered strawberry hearts) and Cookie Cake.
Other flavors in the tournament included:
- Strawberry Cheesecake vs. Blueberry Cheesecake
- Red Velvet Cake
- Hot Fudge Brownie vs. Raspberry Fudge Brownie
- Cherry Amaretto Cordial vs. Gingerbread House
- Mocha Madness vs. Tiramisu
- Creole Cream Cheese vs. Key Lime Pie
- Lemon Bliss
- Triple Caramel vs. Triple Chocolate
Groom's Cake will return to store shelves in 2025, though an official date has not been announced.
