US Marshals and other agencies have found and rescued 200 missing children as part of Operation We Will Find You 2.

This nationwide operation, conducted from May 20 to June 24 with the help of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, rescued 123 children from dangerous situations, including:

  • A 1-year-old whose mother was convicted in the death of another child
  • A 12-year-old girl, a victim of suspected sexual abuse
  • Two girls, aged 15 and 17, suspected victims of human trafficking
  • Three 16-year-old girls, victims of sex trafficking, sexual exploitation, and suspected abuse

77 other children were located and found to be safe.

The youngest child recovered was 5 months old, and 14 children were found outside the city they went missing.

"[W]e are grateful that vulnerable children have been recovered as part of this operation... [B]ehind every statistic, there is a child who deserves to grow up safe from harm." — NCMEC President and CEO Michelle DeLaune.
