Alligator spotted hiding under shopping carts outside South Carolina supermarket

A video has gone viral showing an alligator seeking shelter under a stack of shopping carts outside a Publix supermarket in Summerville, South Carolina. The incident, which occurred last week, was captured on film by Lisa Royal, who exclaimed:

"Y'all this is happening right now at the Publix... There is an alligator under the shopping carts outside."

Footage shows the alligator resting underneath caution tape as onlookers snap photos. Royal shared the video on Facebook, and it quickly garnered attention.
