World UFO Day: A Growing Movement Demanding Truth

Today, July 2, is World UFO Day, where the "UFO community comes together to celebrate their beliefs and open their minds."

The day is marked by activities like watching UFO movies and discussions on the existence of UFOs and alien life, with a focus on exploring "a different perspective."

Official Recognition:
In August 2023, the Pentagon launched a website managed by the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO). This office investigates what are officially termed "unidentified anomalous phenomena." The site offers declassified information and media on reported sightings, addressing the public's curiosity and longstanding demand for transparency.

The Department of Defense’s press release hailed the website as a "one-stop shop" for approved photos and videos, marking a shift towards acknowledging the public's interest in this phenomenon.

A Turning Point: From Conspiracy to Congressional Hearings

The journey towards mainstream acceptance of UFOs as a serious topic can be traced back to 2017 when New York Times reporter Ralph Blumenthal collaborated with investigative journalist Leslie Kean. Kean obtained access to a confidential meeting, revealing a top-secret Pentagon program investigating sightings of mysterious objects in the sky.

“The government always took the position that there’s nothing to this, that these are all hoaxes or hallucinations, but nothing real... This was a pretty good story, I thought – a great story.” – Ralph Blumenthal, New York Times reporter

Blumenthal's subsequent article, " Glowing Auras and ‘Black Money,” published in the Times, was a turning point. It exposed the government's contradictory stance and sparked a series of events, including government hearings and UFO documentaries, culminating in recent jaw-dropping congressional testimonies by military witnesses.

Intelligence Officials Go Public:

In July 2023, three former military members, Ryan Graves, Cmdr. David Fravor, and David Grusch, with firsthand knowledge of reported encounters, testified before Congress. The hearing addressed the potential national security threats posed by unidentified anomalous phenomena, reflecting bipartisan pressure on the executive branch and the military to disclose more information.

During the hearing, witnesses stressed the need for transparency and suggested that the observed phenomena could be indicative of technology far beyond human capabilities, implying potential implications for national defense.

"The American people deserve to know what is happening in our skies. It is long overdue." – Ryan Graves, former military member and witness

UFO Documentaries for World UFO Day:

WorldUFODay.com curates a list of top-rated UFO documentaries, including "Out of the Blue" directed by James Fox, and a BBC documentary featuring actor Danny Dyer exploring the possibility of UFOs as a real phenomenon.
