Two Dead in Austin Apartment Homicide

Two individuals, believed to be a man and a woman, were found dead with blunt force trauma wounds in an apartment on Airport Boulevard, Austin, on Wednesday morning.

"The incident is being investigated as a homicide. We responded to a high-priority call at the Urban Villas Apartment Homes around 10:16 a.m. The caller identified two people with life-threatening injuries. Emergency responders provided medical aid, but both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene." - Austin Police Officer, Austin Zarling.

At the time of the press conference, no arrests had been made, and the weapon used was not confirmed. The identities of the victims have not been released pending family notification. The police believe this to be an isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the public.
