Delta flight to Amsterdam makes emergency landing in NYC after spoiled meals served

A Delta Air Lines flight [https://www.delta.com/en_us] heading to Amsterdam was forced to make an emergency landing in New York City on Wednesday morning due to spoiled in-flight meals. The flight diverted to John F. Kennedy International Airport [https://www.jfklga.org/] after reports of spoiled food emerged, and medical experts recommended the diversion as a precaution.

277 passengers on board Delta flight 136 from Detroit to Amsterdam found themselves in an unexpected situation. The spoiled meals were discovered in the main cabin, and it is unclear how many people consumed the affected food. Medics were on standby at JFK as the plane landed early Wednesday morning to provide medical attention if needed.

In a statement, Delta expressed regret over the incident, saying:
